‎2027 Elections: Oyibo mobilizes Deltans for President Tinubu, Gov Sheriff. ‎

‎Comrade Snr. Evangelist Olumami Oritsejolomi Oyibo, an outstanding Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in Delta State and first Commissioner of the State Civil Service Commission, has called on Deltans to cast their votes overwhelmingly for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in the forthcoming January 2027 General elections.

‎Explaining reasons for the call, in a broadcast video that went viral on social media, Oyibo stated that Deltans should return the President and Governor to office on the basis of the records of the good performance in their respective first tenure in office to consolidate on the progress made so far.

‎Oyibo, who is the Delta State Chairman of PBAT (President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) and GSFOO (Governor Sheriff Francis Orohwedon Oborevwori), two political pressure groups, championing the re-elections bid of the President and Governor in Delta State was also a former Chairman of Delta State Local Government Service Commission as well as former treasurer of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC

Oyibo pointed out that the reforms of the President that has repositioned the Nigerian nation on a highway of economic prosperity and development is the best thing that has happened since independence.

‎Similarly, he described President Tinubu as the best president by all standards, that has ruled the nation from among the pack of past leaders that have so far presided over the affairs of the nation at different times.

‎Oyibo said that as head of PBAT and GSFOO in Delta State, they are making enormous efforts at marketing and sensitizing Deltans at the grassroot level from door to door to be aware of the good reasons why they should vote President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff as well as all APC members who would be contesting for the House of Representatives and the Senate and furthermore, all candidates of the party contesting for the Delta State House of Assembly.

‎Oyibo, who is also a former president of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Delta State, stated that President Tinubu, as former governor of Lagos State that was very succesful, came fully prepared to efficiently and effectively tackle the problems of the nation.

He remarked that although the reforms of the president like the removal of fuel subsidy where a few persons were benefitting from it may have brought some temporary hardship upon the people, nevertheless, they were necessary to cure the ills of the nation. "It is like the maxim that says: 'Suffer before pleasure," Oyibo said.

‎Furthermore, Oyibo explained that it was obvious to all presidential candidates in the 2023 elections that the policy of fuel subsidy was not sustainable in the country and now the gains of the removal has brought a lot to the developments to the nation. For instance, whereas before President Tinubu came to power, about 27 of the 36 States could not pay monthly salaries of workers, but with the removal of fuel subsidy, all the States now have more than enough federal allocations to take care of their respective State.

‎In addition to various infrastructure developments in Delta State, like the construction of roads even in riverine marshy areas of the State, bridges and flyovers, as well as the policy of boosting agriculture production, renovation of schools, primary health Centers, hospitals and human capital development, Governor Sheriff has approved the bonus payment of thirteenth month salaries to Civil Servants tworkers at the end of the year which has been signed into law, making it mandatory for successive governors to implement.

‎Oyibo commended the Governor for working so hard to woo foreign investors to Delta State, especially in making sure that the State remain peaceful and conducive for them.

‎The APC Chieftain also spoke about "Option A," another political pressure group headed by Hon. Wilson Agbure as Director General with State wide presence working together with PBAT and GSFOO to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori alias Ukodo in the coming 2027 general elections so that they can continue their good work.

‎Oyibo disclosed that Option A is a well organized, structured pressure group that has three Zonal Directors viz Dr. Amuwah in charge of Delta North Senatorial District and Mr. Eburajolo in charge of Delta South Senatorial District. The group has Ambassadors coordinating its affairs in the twenty-five Local Government Areas of the State.

‎Oyibo lauded the decision of the President Tinubu's administration to introduce State Police in the nation. He noted that it will not only strengthen the security architecture of the country but also create massive employment for the youths.

‎Oyibo, who was formerly a super Head of Personnel Management, HPM, in the Delta State Local Government Service, reiterated that the focus of PBAT, GSFOO and Option A as well as other political pressure groups is to mobilize all Civil Servants, workers in the private sector, market women and men, students in tertiary institutions, youths and every household in the State to cast their votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 elections for a second tenure in office as well as all APC candidates in the elections.
