Isoko North President Generals Endorse Miller Akpoili as Sole Candidate for IDU Worldwide Secretary-General

The Committee of President Generals in Isoko North Local Government Area has unanimously endorsed High Chief Miller Akpoili as the sole candidate for the position of Secretary-General of the Isoko Development Union (IDU) Worldwide ahead of the organization's December 2026 election.


The endorsement, which was formally announced by the committee, reflects what the leaders described as Akpoili's outstanding leadership qualities, proven administrative competence, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the Isoko Nation.



According to the committee, High Chief Akpoili has consistently demonstrated integrity, dedication to service, and a strong passion for promoting unity among Isoko people both at home and in the diaspora.



The President Generals noted  in their endorsement letter that his track record of selfless service and his deep understanding of the aspirations of the Isoko people make him eminently qualified to occupy the strategic office of Secretary-General of IDU Worldwide.


They expressed confidence that his emergence would strengthen the administrative framework of the union and further advance the vision of a united, progressive, and prosperous Isoko Nation.


The committee emphasized that the endorsement was reached after a careful consideration of Akpoili's experience, capacity, and longstanding contributions to community development and Isoko affairs.


Calling for total support, the President Generals urged delegates, stakeholders, and sons and daughters of Isoko across the globe to rally behind his candidacy in the interest of unity and collective progress.


They stressed that the forthcoming election presents an opportunity for the Isoko Nation to consolidate its developmental aspirations under a tested and visionary leadership.



The endorsement was officially signed by Peter Ikpi Moses on behalf of the Committee of President Generals, Isoko North Local Government Area, reaffirming the group's commitment to supporting High Chief Miller Akpoili's candidacy.


Political observers and community leaders have described the endorsement as a significant boost to Akpoili's campaign, positioning him as a leading figure in the race for the Secretary-Generalship of IDU Worldwide in December 2026.
