Ibori-Suenu Set to Declare Re-election Bid in Oghara May 14; Calls for Consolidation of Progress

 





The political atmosphere in Ethiope Federal Constituency is charging up as the incumbent representative and Chairman of the House Committee on NDDC, Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, officially announces her intention to seek a second term in the House of Representatives.

In a statement released to the public, the lawmaker invited constituents from Ethiope East and West to a “Grand Re-Election Declaration” scheduled for Thursday, 14th May 2026, at the Oghara Township Stadium.

Reflecting on her current tenure, Ibori-Suenu described her time in Abuja as a mission defined by service and results. She emphasized that her office has been a vocal advocate for the interests of the Ethiope people, ensuring the constituency remains a priority in national developmental discourse.

“The journey we started together is one of service, representation, and results,” the lawmaker stated.
