Hon. Dr. Hope George, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Political Matters, has described the Chairman of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Solomon Arenyeka, as a political giant worthy of celebration as he clocks 69 years.

Dr. Hope George, in a goodwill message made available through WhatsApp on Wednesday, extolled the leadership qualities, political experience, and grassroots appeal of the APC chairman, describing him as an indefatigable leader whose contributions to party development and political stability in Delta State remain remarkable.

According to him, Chief Arenyeka has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment, courage, and capacity in steering the affairs of the party, noting that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence among party faithful across the state.

“At 69, we are celebrating an accomplished politician, a tested and trusted grassroots mobilizer, and a dependable leader whose wealth of political experience remains invaluable to the growth of the APC in Delta State,” Hope George stated.

He further expressed confidence in the ability of the Delta APC chairman to lead the party to victory in future elections, including the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senatorial, Governorship, and Presidential polls.

“Despite the political battles ahead, Chief Solomon Arenyeka possesses the capacity, wisdom, and grassroots connection needed to reposition the party for electoral success. He is a leader with a strong following because he has remained a good mentor to many of us in politics,” he added.

The governor’s aide also noted that many younger politicians and party stakeholders continue to draw inspiration and guidance from Chief Arenyeka’s reservoir of political knowledge and leadership experience.

Dr. Hope George further declared that the APC chairman deserves greater national recognition for his outstanding service and credible performance, expressing optimism that future honours await him.

“At 70, his birthday celebration should come with national honours because his contributions and credible performance deserve much more. Once again, happy birthday to my ‘Oga wey sabi,’” he concluded.
