General Oloye, Congratulates Rt. Hon. Waive 0ver APC Primary Victory, Calls for Greater Unity Across U3 Federal Constituency

Hon. Clement Ofovwi, popularly known as General Oloye, who serves as Personal Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Security Matters and Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Third Phase, has congratulated the Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, following his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election conducted across the Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency.

In a statement personally issued shortly after the conclusion of the primary exercise held on Saturday, May 16, 2025, General Oloye described Waive’s emergence as the APC candidate as “a well-deserved victory” and a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in him by party faithful and grassroots supporters across the constituency.

According to General Oloye, the outcome of the primary election demonstrated the growing strength, popularity, and political acceptance of Rt. Hon. Francis Waive within the APC structure and among the people of the Federal Constituency.

General Oloye commended APC members, leaders, delegates, and supporters for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the exercise, noting that the maturity displayed during the process was a positive signal for the future of the party in the constituency.

General Oloye the Governor Aide stressed that the victory should not  be seen as a personal achievement for Waive but  as a collective triumph for loyal party members who remained committed to the ideals of progressive leadership, inclusiveness, and grassroot participation.

The respected Ex  warlord from Udu LGA further urged party stakeholders and supporters across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Local Government Areas to close ranks and work together in unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized that political unity, strategic collaboration, and sustained grassroots mobilisation would remain critical factors in ensuring electoral success for the APC in the constituency.

General Oloye also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that will promote peace, political stability, youth inclusion, and community development within the U3 Federal Constituency and Delta State at large.

He noted that leaders must continue to place the collective interest of the people above personal ambitions, adding that sustainable political progress can only thrive where unity, mutual respect, and cooperation exist among stakeholders.

While congratulating Rt. Hon. Francis Waive on what he described as a “resounding and overwhelming mandate,” General Oloye expressed optimism that the lawmaker would continue to provide purposeful representation and strengthen democratic dividends to the people of the constituency.

He further called on APC faithful and supporters not to relent in their support for the party, stressing that victory at the polls is best secured through continuous engagement with the grassroots and effective mobilisation across all wards and communities.

The statement concluded with prayers for continued peace, stability, and political progress within the U3 Federal Constituency and Delta State as a whole.
