Breaking: Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituents Storm APC National Secretariat, Abuja in a Peaceful Protest Against Mutu 8th Term Bid, Calls for Power Balance

The people of Bomadi-Patani Federal Constituency under the aegis of Bomadi/Patani Power Balance Advocates has stormed APC National Secretariat, Abuja in order to express their displeasure over continuous imposition of the incumbent member representing the federal constituency, Hon. Nicholas Mutu who had been in the green chamber over the past twenty eight (28) years without any positive impact on the lives of the people.

In a peaceful protest on Tuesday at the APC National Secretariat Wuse 2, Abuja, the concerned youths from Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency appealed to the national leadership of the progressive party to provide a level playing ground for the fresh aspirants who have picked the party nomination form ahead of the primary, stressing that any further attempt by the leadership of the party to impose Mutu against the will of the people would be vehemently resisted by the people during the general elections.

The concerned youths in their demands charged the National leadership of the party to immediately prevail on the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and its agents from imposing Nicholas Mutu on the people of Bomadi-Patani Federal Constituency for 8 term.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party jointly signed by Comrade Chris Anthony and Comrade Timi Ogobiri who is the convener and Director of Strategic Communication stated that any further attempt to impose Mutu on the people will not be taken lightly, noting that it would be disastrous and negatively affect the outcome of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election bid in the 2027 general elections in Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency.

The concerned Bomadi/Patani federal constituents further warned that APC should be prepared to lose votes to the opposition parties in the presidential election if they fail to listen to the tears of the people who are victims of circumstances.

Finally, they appealed to the National leadership of the party to caution the National Executive Council to refrain from meddling into the affairs of Bomadi/Patani federal constituency whose voice have been silenced by the unheard and unproductive voice of Nicholas Mutu over the past 28 years without anything meaningful to account for his long stay at the Green Chamber.

A stitch in time, saves nine, the statement added.
